I was brought aboard as part of the launch team for the Middle East edition as Art Director. We initially launched the edition as the first English version outside of the US and followed this with an Arabic edition.
Apart from the publication itself and its digital edition I had creative oversight of our online presence, events and marketing creative. I had the creative freedom to experiment and really make our visuals and brand stand out against our competitors in a crowded market, using illustrations, animation, photoshoots and typography for our layouts and covers. Taking the serious tone of most business and shattering the usual staid approahceswhile keeping the branding in line with Bloomberg HQ in New York.
